1935 Matsushita Electric Co., LTD established as one of Matsushita’s divisional companies. Manufactured and sold wiring devices, synthetic resins and conduits tubes
1945 Renamed as Matsushita Electric Works, LTD.(MEW)
1952 Started Manufacturing fluorescent light devices
1955 Started marketing hair dryers and electric shavers
1958 Started marketing plastic laminate products
1974 Aromat Corporation established as 100% subsidiary of MEW
1981 Entered security systems, health care and factory automation (FA) market
1984 Established Aromat Canada, Inc.
1994 Established Matsushita Electronic Materials
1996 Established Aromat Mexicana S. A. de C. V. in Mexicali, Mexico
2005 Renamed as Panasonic Electric Works Corporation of America
Renamed as Panasonic Electric Works Canada, Inc.
