Phoenix Passive Components manufactures and sells conventional fixed linear resistors on a worldwide scale. Based on our two main technologies, wirewound and metal film, we offer a broad product portfolio, including standard, precision, fusible and encased resistors, as well as application specific solutions such as noisesuppressors and lighting resistors.
Over a period of more than 50 years, before 2000 as part of the former Philips Components, we have built a vast competence in developing and manufacturing resistors. Our manufacturing unit is located in Recife (Brazil) and employs more than 500 people. Phoenix is by far the market leader in South America. Strong points of Phoenix are our logistics performance together with our development capability for specific customer requests.
Our quality system follows international standards as demonstrated by our TS16949, ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications. We aim at serving the market with quality products in a professional manner showing both flexibility and reliability.
